Established in 1986

From 1986-2000, Gregg Perry started his journey in wood with Gregg E. Perry Furniture Makers, an 18th century style bench-made furniture maker (specializing in the Philadelphia Chippendale style in Tiger Maple). During that same timeframe, in addition to creating furniture, he also restored a multitude of 17th–18th century wooden furniture pieces.

At the apex of this business venture, Gregg E. Perry Furniture Makers was one of the top tier creators of 18th century reproduction furniture in the country; producing a line of 24 pieces in the Philadelphia Chippendale style which were distributed throughout 12 major cities.

As of 2000, Gregg Perry became a certified Horologist, specializing in the conservation and restoration of 17th to 19th century clocks, watches and scientific instruments. His training in this field as well as historic furniture preservation has been extensive and international in nature and includes:
